Before any wax touches skin, we check for sensitivity and ask about medications — retinoids and Accutane can make skin delicate, and it's better to know first. First-timers get a walkthrough of exactly what happens, no surprises.

Step 2: Before Your Appointment

Hair needs to be about 1/4 inch — roughly 2 weeks of growth. Longer is fine; we trim at no charge.

Lightly exfoliate the day before. Skip lotion the day of.

Wear loose clothing, and avoid sun and workouts right before your visit.

Step 3: Fast Hands, Private Room

Skin held taut, wax applied with the growth, the pull flat and fast against it — the technique that makes the difference between a wince and a "that's it?". Private room with a door, fresh applicator every dip, and we work fast: most services finish in the minutes listed on the menu.

Step 4: Soothing Finish

A calming post-wax treatment takes down redness before you leave — most clients walk out with skin already settling.
