Nano brows vs microblading — what's actually different?
The tool. Microblading cuts strokes into skin with a hand blade. Nano implants pigment with a single-needle machine — finer control, gentler on skin.
The skin types. Oily skin blurs microblading strokes over time. The machine's consistent depth keeps nano strokes defined — if you were ever told your skin "can't hold strokes," nano is your answer.
The lifespan. Nano typically holds its detail longer — 2–3 years with an annual refresh, and it fades softer.
The feel. Machine work is gentler than blading. With our double-numbing process, most clients rate it mild — many doze off.

Phibrows NanoBrows/ Nano Hairstroke Step by Step
Step 1: JD Brows Consultation
Our NanoBrows/ Nano Hairstroke artist will take the time to get to know you, your preferences, and your expectations for the procedure. We will start by asking you about your desired eyebrow shape, thickness, and color, and evaluate your facial features and skin tone to determine the best approach for achieving your desired results.
Step 2: Before Appointment
Avoid taking any blood-thinning medications starting from 2 days before procedure such as aspirin, ibuprofen. Consult with your doctor before stopping any prescribed medication.
Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Avoid consuming alcohol and caffeine at least 2 hours before the procedure.
Do Not Tint Your Eyebrows: Refrain from tinting your eyebrows at least one week prior to the appointment, as the chemicals in the dye can cause skin irritation and alter the color of the eyebrows.
Wait for at least 3 weeks after Botox to do NanoBrows/ Nano Hairstroke.
Step 3: Double Numbing
We use a special DOUBLE NUMBING process to ensure that you won't feel and pain during the process.
Step 4: Perfect Shape Mapping
We will use the Phiapp software that uses 1.618 Golden Ratio equation to take detailed measurements of your face and eyebrows, including the length and width of your eyebrows, the distance between your brows and other facial features, and the angle and arch of your eyebrows.
This information is then used to create a customized eyebrow design that is tailored to your unique facial features and personal preferences.
We respect your input and make sure you like the shape before we even get started.
Step 5: Most Natural NanoBrows/ Nano Hairstroke
During the NanoBrows/ Nano Hairstroke procedure, we use hair-like strokes that follow the direction of your natural eyebrow hair to fill in your eyebrows, creating a realistic and natural-looking result.
The result is a more realistic and natural-looking brow shape that blends seamlessly with your natural hair.
This means that when someone looks at your eyebrows after the procedure, they shouldn't be able to tell that they are fake or artificial. Instead, the result should look like a subtle enhancement of your natural eyebrows, with improved shape, thickness, and definition.
Step 6: Aftercare Kit
We provide for you an After care kit including aftercare instructions.
Aftercare instructions:
First day: Wash brows gently with cetaphil or baby soap, rinse and dap dry with tissue then apply skin candy (Do this 5-6 times on the first day).
From 2nd day to 7th day, keep dry and continue to apply skin candy 2 times a day.
It's OK to take shower, remember to apply skin candy on brows before each time you shower to protect the eyebrows.
Fresh photos are easy. Healed photos are proof.
Every studio shows brows from 5 minutes after the appointment. We show you brows at 1 month and 1 year — see our Healed Results and judge us on those.

Appointments only. Every first visit starts with a consultation and PhiApp golden-ratio mapping — you approve the shape in the mirror before any needle touches skin. And if nano isn't right for your skin, we'll say so.
